Mission Hills has signed an agreement with Google Fiber to bring internet and television service to the City. Google Fiber is still in the midst of completing installations in KC and will not predict a timeline on when service could arrive.
Google has stated, "We’ll start planning our network in these new [Johnson County] cities ASAP and we’ll make another announcement once we’re ready to start customer signups.
