Mission Hills Municipal Court

Fire Services

Fire protection in Mission Hills is provided by Johnson County Consolidated Fire District No. 2.

"Call if You Can, Text if You Can't"

If you are unable to call for help, please text "9-1-1" and dispatchers will respond. Calling 9-1-1 is still the best way to reach dispatchers, but there are certain situations when texting may be preferred, such as when you are unable to speak.

  • View and print the Valuables Inventory Form which will assist police recover your property if stolen.
  • Enter your phone number or e-mail address into the NotifyJoCo Notification System to receive messages requiring immediate action such as boil-water notices, missing child notifications or evacuation notices.

Village Video Cooperative 

Video cameras are one of the best methods for detecting and apprehending criminals or discovering suspicious activity. Police regularly ask businesses and individuals to share surveillance footage that might aid crime-solving efforts. House Watch Request

The Prairie Village Police Department offers the House Watch Request Program which allows residents to leave pertinent information with the Prairie Village Police when going out of town for business or vacation. By filling out the form, police will have relevant information about the resident's home, thus knowing what to watch for during daily patrols.
