[ARCHIVED] Storm Damage Pick-up

storm

The City of Mission Hills will do a citywide pickup of storm debris beginning Tuesday, August 1st. It may take several days for our contractors to complete the collection process. Please place storm debris at the curb (with the larger diameter cut end toward the street) no later than 7 am on August 1st.  The regular yard waste collection will occur on Monday, July 31st.   You should always verify that the tree companies you hire have an urban forestry license with the City.

Also, if you experienced any damage to your home, please remember to obtain City permits to repair the damage.  The City staff will verify that the contractors you hire have the proper licensure to work in the City, Johnson County, and the state, as Kansas requires all roofers to be registered with the state Attorney General's office.   You should always verify that the tree companies you hire have an urban forestry license with the City.

If you have any questions, please contact City Hall at 913-362-9620.
