Join us for Go Green 2022! This FREE family-friendly Environmental Fair aims to show you how each small step you take can help reduce your carbon footprint at home, school and work and save money while doing so. Local businesses and nonprofits will provide information and items to help you live a more sustainable life.

WHERE :  Saturday, September 17 from 9 a.m. – noon at the Powell Community Center in Mission. 

CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES

• Face painting

• Hands-on Station: Make milkweed balls to support migrating Monarch butterflies and plant Kansas wildflowers in egg cartons to support local pollinators

• Imagination Station: How can these household items be reused?

• E-Bike Station: Interact with an e-bike educator and her amazing wheels

• Guessing Game: How many lids in a jar? Best guess will win a kid’s gardening tools set
