The City has hired the firm McAnany Construction, Inc. to mill and pave Mission Drive (56th Street to Tomahawk Road). The work includes milling off the old asphalt, making base repairs as needed, repaving the roadway with new asphalt and installing new pavement markings. Weather permitting, on Friday, Oct. 13, the milling will begin on Mission Drive behind City Hall and it will take about three days to complete the milling on Mission Drive all the way to the intersection with 56th Street. Following the milling we will make any full depth repairs and then lay new asphalt – tentatively beginning that on Thursday, Oct. 19. Laying new asphalt should take about 3 days as well.
