The map shows Evergy’s planned tree trimming schedule around their transmission lines and equipment. Evergy generally prunes to provide at least 10 feet of clearance around their lines to reduce outages during thunderstorms and winter weather. Evergy’s normal procedure is to leave the removed limbs onsite for the property owner to remove.
